Shantanu Bala, creator of Ebook Glue, a new tool for creating eBooks
Interview Starts at 18:15
A lot of writers are already formatting their content and arranging their content for their blogs and for their websites. To me, it doesn’t really make sense why they should have to re-do that entire process for another device. It really should be an automatic thing, and it’s definitely possible. It just takes a little bit of work in figuring out how to make it happen really well.

Len, see if you can interview the creator of Sigil EBook Editor used by many authors and formatters in the USA.
Posted 05 Jan 2013 at 5:03 pm ¶I will check this out, Tom. Thanks for the suggestion.
Posted 05 Jan 2013 at 5:48 pm ¶Works great for text-only blogs, but it trips over graphics and embedded videos. Nice product anyway and very useful. However, I would rather use something that gives me more control over the output rather than a “black box”.
Posted 07 Jan 2013 at 5:18 am ¶Richard, I agree Ebook Glue is only a beginning and hope Shantanu is able to refine it to its full potential. Thanks for trying it!
Posted 07 Jan 2013 at 5:26 am ¶Very few blogs are of high enough consistent quality to merit being converted to an ebook to generate additional revenue stream. And the blogs that can merit ebook conversion have a whole professional staff behind it to do this type of work (such as the Washington Post or NY Times blogs). In EBook Glue’s current state the potential is limited. However, this young man has tons of potential.
Posted 07 Jan 2013 at 8:30 am ¶I just did a quick conversion of my blog, a monthly calendar which includes an image and text. The process was fast and easy. I look forward to what Ebook Glue offers as it develops.
Posted 23 Jan 2013 at 5:34 pm ¶I’m glad it worked, Bette. Thanks for the report!
