TKC Extra – E-Books Talk in Ogden, Utah

This is a recording of a talk I gave today (August 13, 2011) at the Professional Outdoor Media Association‘s annual conference at the Marriott in Ogden, Utah. The title of the presentation was “Selling Content for E-Readers.”  You can download the Word document I prepared as a handout here.

I’m so glad I accepted the invitation to address the conference, because I’ve met terrific writers who cover hunting and fishing and other outdoor sports who were hungry to learn about the possibilities of publishing for e-readers.  I really hope I hear from some of them about new work they’ve uploaded to the Kindle Store.

I fly back to Boston tomorrow and will take the train to Ocean Park Monday, to resume our lengthy stay by the sea.  The first bi-weekly episode of the Kindle Chronicles will be coming your way Friday, August 19.

    Hi Len,

While few in number, there are some e-books with indexes. The ones I have are linked entries, similar to a table of contents, which does reduce search time to some extent.
