I appreciate that you mentioned how formatting issues disrupt your reading. This has happened to me. I have found several instances of no spaces between words, of line duplication, and of having an entire line skipped between every paragraph (this means I have to hit the next page button a lot). I almost feel like the publishing industry doesn't care as much about e-books, they focus on the paper and just throw a kindle version together without much oversight. This isn't amazon's responsibility. Should we contact a publishing house each time there is a formatting mistake found? Wouldn't they be able to fix it for all future downloads or could they update everyone's copy?

Jeffry, I may have been flip in characterizing the Engadget first look post in my show notes text. But the following quote from their post still leaves me feeling that "is not impressed" is not completely shy of the mark: "the interface is totally minimal and a little nonsensical without the stylus. A bar on the left side gives you a "tactile" method of pushing right or left to turn the page, but it feels pretty janky." Still, I appreciate your making the effort to keep my feet to the fire, since I aim to be a fair source of information, even though this podcast has, from the start, had an obvious orientation and enthusiasm for one specific eReader. I will try to do better....

I love the innocuous statement about Engadget not being impressed when the article clearly says they "don't know how to feel."

At least try to have some integrity.
