Well, I guess I'll stake my claim too :-) There are probably a few of us, as Bufo says.

I was delighted I could add highlighted (non-typed) material into the Note-feature so that I could first paste in a reference in that note re the passage that got my interest before jotting a thought or two on it.

On May 29th I posted that as
"Highlight-copy-paste to a note on Kindle 2" at
  http://bit.ly/khilitefind

And on June 14th I posted
"Searching a book for a name without typing the name" at
  http://bit.ly/kfind

and it was also posted to the Amazon forums later where it had some discussion when we talked about not having linked chapters. We could highlight the name of the chapter from the table of contents and click on Find and it would take us to the chapter. One thing we mentioned was this could be done without a keyboard.

Amazon provided some good study tools that function pretty well but are missing in most other readers coming out.

Len,
Interesting interview and especially liked the extra tour piece. This school seems taylor made to have this paperless library implemented. These seem to have the financial means and the kind of students to make this work. Any seconday school with a $12,000 expresso machine is not your run of the mill school.

Len, you were wondering where you got the tech tip about highlighting material, so you don't have to type it in when looking it up. I'm guessing you might have read it in my blog in this post:

http://ilmk.wordpress.com/2009/09/04/name-dropper-a-typing-free-way-to-look-up-a-phrase-in-wikipedia/

It's possible you saw it somewhere else, of course. :)
