Hi Len,
I enjoyed this interview with Mark Mahaney. One comment: he said that once you buy an iPod, you never need to spend another penny since you can download all your music from existing CDs or free podcasts. However, he said the Kindle is "different" in that you are "required" to buy content -- but that is absolutely not true! Between Feedbooks, Manybooks, Project Gutenberg, etc., a person could be happily reading forever and never spend another penny. Of course, if you want to read the latest bestseller, you'll need to buy it. But if you want to listen to the lastest Top Ten music hit, you'll have to buy that too -- so I think his analogy was flawed. Just my 2 cents.
